Overview

MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for a Consumer Marketing InternBased in the New York Office and reporting to the Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing, this person will work closely with the team to assist with event planning and support of marketing-driven campaign development, 360/omni-channel planning, competitive benchmarking and partnership exploration. This person will also assist with relationship building with regard to new partners, large scale sampling coordination, consumer insights, and other ad-hoc projects. Through involvement with various initiatives, this person will gain inside knowledge and first-hand experience in the growing and dynamic beauty & luxury landscape as well as the value of cross-functional partnership with other teams.

Responsibilities

  • 360 launch planning: Provide planning, execution, and overall support for brand campaign activations
  • Mass sampling: Help plan and manage the logistics of multiple large sampling partnerships
  • Brand partnerships: Assist in developing briefs for partners to create engaging activations & content to support and amplify the presence of brand campaigns & media partnerships
  • Industry insights/community tracking: Understand and stay up-to-date with marketplace trends, competitor activities, changes in social media platforms & more in order to be able to analyze the beauty/luxury landscape
  • Ad-Hoc Administrative projects: Support Brand Marketing day-to-day initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an Associate’s/ Bachelor’s/Master’s program at an accredited college or university
  • Highly analytical
  • Ability to flex between macro and micro projects
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to demonstrate effective & professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
