MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for a Manager, Pro Business Development - East,  reporting to the Director, Pro Business. This role will be pivotal in the growth of Pro business at MAKE UP FOR EVER. Strategic planning is a key part, as this role will be responsible for developing the pipeline of new business.

The Business Development Manager, East will be responsible for all states East of Texas, including, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota. He/She will be responsible for managing all aspects of existing and new business for school, production and pro retailer accounts.  This role will define long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals.


  • Identify new markets, new partnerships with businesses
  • Create new ways to reach existing markets, or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets
  • Generate sales among client accounts, by up- selling and cross-selling
  • Research and build new sales leads and contacts
  • Create business plans and goals for existing and new clients in collaboration with Director
  • Prospect appropriate doors within your geographic area to ensure a diverse pipeline of opportunities
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
  • Report the progress of monthly/quarterly goals to Director and Manager of Pro Business Development
  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
  • Forecast increases and decreases to create accurate and aggressive goals
  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams
  • Schedule and execute all education needs and site visits to ensure solid partnerships
  • Build solid relationships with decision makers
  • Communicate all new product launches to prospective clients
  • Process all  opening orders and re orders
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Attend & support all Trade Shows


  • Time management and attention to detail skills a must
  • Extensive knowledge of current market required
