Overview

MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for a Manager, Trade Marketing. Based in the New York Office and reporting to the Director, Trade Marketing, this person will develop and manage the marketing plan while foreseeing future opportunities to meet / exceed retail sales goals across all Sephora businesses within The Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage trade marketing plans. Liaison with retailers and internal departments to secure opportunities and coordinate initiatives
  • Develop and manage a robust sampling plan that link back to the overall brand objectives, focus on new client acquisition and deliver strong ROI
  • Flawlessly plan unique 360 campaigns to support new product launches and core repromotes, meeting / exceeding sales expectations
  • Partner with cross functional teams to develop programs with strong incremental sales and ROI
  • Focus on retaining and engaging Sephora / SiJCP clients through their loyalty program
  • Responsible for assortments, recommending new product launches and discontinuations and coordinating assortment changes with retailers
  • Liaison with Visual Merchandising on all fixture updates
  • Liaison with education department to develop support materials
  • Budget management
  • Direct contact for Sephora US Assistant Merchant and SiJCP / Sephora Mexico merchants

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and develop master documents such as marketing calendar and cross functional documents
  • Liaison with operations to forecast and secure inventory for marketing initiatives
  • New product forecasts and evaluate post launch performance
  • Partner with sales department on performance analysis
  • Monitor client feedback on major product launches
  • Monitor industry best practices
  • Presentations
  • Some travel required (Sephora, SiJCP, Mexico)

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience, preferably in the cosmetic industry
  • Sephora experience preferred
  • Brazil or Mexico experience (a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage timelines
  • Adaptable to change
  • Effective Communicator who is able to build strong relationships
  • Great team player; positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
