    MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for a Vice President, Finance, based in the New York Corporate Office and reporting to the General Manager, Americas, this person will serve to bring a process improvement focus to the accounting and financial reporting function by partnering with key stakeholders across the Company to enhance and better integrate financial controls and policies. The Vice President, Finance will be responsible for the oversight of all accounting, tax, cash, finance and reporting activities and processes and will serve as a member of the Americas Management Team.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead all financial reporting to global headquarters, including R1& R2 budgets, 3 & 5 year financial plans & reconciliation reporting for the US, Canada, Brazil & Mexico
    • Serve as financial business partner to the General Manager, Americas
    • Strategize and lead an increasingly rigorous and disciplined financial processes to drive business clarity and ensure full visibility to business opportunities and risks.
    • Identify & define potential financial risks and implement corrective actions.
    • Further develop the Company’s Financial Planning & Analysis function including financial modeling, financial systems, controls and processes, budgeting and forecasting, and cash management.
    • In partnership with Business Development, identify business growth opportunities & provide information and analysis for informed, analytically-driven decision-making.
    • Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial & operating performance, as well as deliver key data & metrics to drive short & long-term business decisions.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to give final sign off on cost controls, pricing targets, inventory optimization, advertising spend, etc. 
    • Assess the effectiveness of the company’s internal control structure to develop & implement recommendations that improve the effectiveness, efficiency & economic value of a control or process.
    • Control cash management activities, with a focus on continuous improvement in capital efficiency. Develop & maintain short-term tactical cash forecast. Serve as the final sign off for forecasting, P&L rollup, etc.
    • Manage and develop a high performing team and create opportunities for professional growth for your team members.
    • Serve as business lead for all real estate negotiations
    • Partner with Management Team on all company agreements and litigations.
    • Partner with Management Team to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10+ years of Accounting & FP&A experience; retail industry/startups preferred
    • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, and CPA is required
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
