    MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for a Product Marketing Intern. Based in the New York Office and reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, this person will work closely with the team to support and execute product marketing initiatives within the US market. This internship will give you an understanding of the dynamic US color cosmetics market, how brands localize product messaging, marketing to consumers in-store & online, and a behind the scenes exposure to the product development process from a local marketing perspective.


    • Competitive Research: Monitor, summarize and provide insights/feedback on key competitive launches, conduct research on existing launches for product development, and purchase competitive products.
    • Comp Requests: Manage and communicate cross-functional team comp requests to global HQ team
    • Pricing: Monitor competitive pricing and MAKE UP FOR EVER’s positioning across the Americas and support the team with research to help set prices for new products.
    • Shade Selection: Partner with Education team on shade selections for sampling programs
    • Briefs: Work on product messaging copywriting briefs ranging from core product messaging to dot com copy
    • Product Feedback: Examine existing portfolio and competitive landscape to identify need gaps, top products, ideal shade range, formula, concept, etc.
    • Product Closet: Manage the product closet, facilitate mailings, and distribute samples.
    • Meeting Preparation: Help teams prepare for major retailer and internal meetings: presentations, catering and product set-up.


    • Must be enrolled in a university/college for the Fall 2018 semseter
    • Adaptable and ability to work in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
    • Candidate must have strong passion for beauty products
    • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Highly organized and detail oriented
    • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
