    MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for a Regional Manager, Education & Artistry. Based in Miami, FL and reporting to the VP, Education & Artitry, this person is responsible for driving MAKE UP FOR EVER sales through product and brand education for Tribe, Sephora Cast and Pro Retailers, facilitation of Academy on Location and high level Sephora trainings, Tribe artistry development and business support, including events, for regionally based Boutiques, SEE’s and Sephora stores.

    Responsibilities

    • Builds strategic schedule to support: SEE development, new launch training & events, Sephora trainings (Cluster, Artistry Lab, NSO if SEE not available) and other business needs of the region
    • Analyzes New Product Performance Reports and creates education training plan to assist SEE in their market based on analysis.
    • Analyzes Boutique business and assigns1 day of the 2 days in store monthly toward education that directly supports business growth
    • Fosters strong relationships with Sephora District Education Manager and Store leadership
    • Is an Outstanding Role Model, leading by example in service, artistry and education
    • Supports SEE in executing events can provide guidance on event negotiation, and negotiations for trainings and BFD dates with Sephora leadership if necessary.
    • Participates and supports high level events as needed in collaboration with Sales and Education Leadership to plan the event strategy support.
    • SEE calendars: Provides feedback to RM/RD if they observe their calendar has opportunities to meet business needs.
    • Work together with SEE to plan the agenda for their RMEA store visits
    • Strategically plan store visits observes and coaches to Boutique selling and service monthly

     

    COACHING AND DEVELOPMENT OF MAKE UP FOR EVER TRIBE: EDUCATION

    • Assist in new product education and selling skills training for both SEEs and Boutique Tribe, Pro retailers and Customer Service (where applicable)
    • Provide in the moment coaching on sales floor for SEEs and Boutique Tribe
    • Observe and coach to the MUSE Service and Selling training that ensures excellent level of service and strong IPT and sales
    • Assist in ideation of tools for all trainings: Sephora, Boutique, Pro Retailer
    • Ensure use of training tools by field as designed
    • Partner with Boutique Head Make Up Artist (HMUA) to build training calendar content to ensure strategic training and education.
    • Partner with corporate team and SEEs to plan and execute effective trainings in Sephora doors.
    • Lead Certification trainings for Levels 1, 2 and 3.
    • Ensure Tribe in their region are certified to appropriate level in a timely manner.
    • Lead quarterly skill development trainings Q1 and Q3 ACE days and Q2 and Q4 at FES to build facilitation and artistry skill development of Field Tribe. Determine after those training who “passes” and receives the recognition.
    • Train on quarterly new product launches, setting selling and training expectations.

     

    ARTISTRY

    • Inspire Tribe & Sephora cast through elevated image & artistry skills
    • Conduct artistry interviews for SEE and Boutique positions
    • Plan & facilitate artistry development for SEEs

     

    ADMINISTRATIVE:

    • Office administrative day 1x per week. Calendars, evaluations, objectives, expense reporting, travel arrangement, follow-ups, strategy and any other relevant job scope duties are to be scheduled for these days. Status conference calls may also be scheduled for these days.
    • Exhibit consistent, appropriate and effective business communication skills and record keeping. Including Committed Training (CT) Evaluations, Artistry Development (AD) Evaluations, and Education & Artistry databases.

     

    PERSONAL EDUCATION & ARTISTRY SKILL DEVELOPMENT:

    • Work closely with Director of Education & Artistry and Manager to attend Development Days PRO Trainings, Academy Special Sessions, Tradeshows, PRO Roadshows and/or special events as requested/where possible.
    • Demonstrate competency and proficiency in achievement of personal Level certifications

    Qualifications

    • College degree
    • Must have two years or more experience in field sales, leadership, management and training
    • Must have strong makeup artistry and education skills
    • Must be fluent in Spanish
    • Must have strong leadership skills
    • Must have exceptional communication skills: written and verbal, and exceptional interpersonal skills
    • Strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task
    • Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
    • Must be able to travel, drive, and maintain valid driver’s license, with proof of insurance
    • Must be physically able to carry boxes (see chart) and work in a fragrance filled, cosmetic environment.
    • Must exhibit a high level of personal appearance and hygiene
    • Must be eligible to obtain a corporate credit card
    • Must be able to travel and work any day of the week as needed
    • Must be able to work during blackout Paid Time Off dates (November & December)
