    MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Marketing. Based in the New York Office, this person will play a pivotal role within the organization, helping to spearhead innovative digital thinking and media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, consumer acquisition, and sales.

     

    This person will translate overall business and brand marketing objectives into “always-on” digital strategies across all media platforms. This person is not only responsible for the performance of all digital tactics (through clearly identified KPIs), but also for those digital tactics in driving the overall business.

    Responsibilities

    DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY & PLANNING

    • Lead the brand’s digital marketing planning against the overall brand calendar
    • Champion industry-leading digital campaign strategy, finding new ways to grow brand awareness, engagement, equity, and new client acquisition
    • Lead digital media strategy & planning across key brand campaign moments
    • Assess current/past digital marketing strategies and recommend modifications or new solutions to meet brand and business objectives
    • Develop planning calendars against digital initiatives that support key objectives
    • Identify, evaluate, and carry out collaboration opportunities with large-scale digital partners

     

    EXECUTION

    • Ensure flawless execution of all digital marketing and media activities
    • Leverage internal and external resources and data sources to report on the successes/challenges of ongoing initiatives and campaigns and provide direction on actionable opportunities for enhancement
    • Lead day-to-day execution of all digital campaigns - managing external vendors, media agency, and internal teams to proactively keep ahead on timelines, deliverables, and communications
    • Provide briefs to creative that contain all assets needed to kick off & execute projects

     

    STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS AND COORDINATION

    • Serve as the digital marketing lead for all cross-functional activity and communication (internally and externally)
    • Partner with social media & ecommerce leads to deliver on business objectives
    • Work with Product/Trade Marketing, PRO, Academy, Education, Sales, and Retail teams to gain input and support for opportunities & priorities required to achieve plans
    • Share key insights with team members and others throughout the organization
    • Manage media and search agency relationship
    • Lead relationship with other digital partners and agencies

    Qualifications

    • Four year college degree – marketing major preferred
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in digital marketing, with a focus on digital campaign development and digital media management.
    • Digital and social-savvy with a passion for innovation.
    • Strong thought-leader with sharp thinking who defines strategies for activation across digital channels that will advance the brand.
    • Ability to analyze data, summarizing insights across digital platforms.
    • Exceptional project management and analytical skills.
    • Self-starter and highly motivated; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and global teams as well as external vendors and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness
    • Cosmetics and/or consumer packaged goods experience preferred, with experience working in highly innovative digitally-centric environments.
