    MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for a Market Specialist. Based in Seattle, WA, this person is responsible for driving sales through education and support of the Sephora Stores in their territory, as well as fostering cast Love of MAKE UP FOR EVER and positive brand perception.

    Responsibilities

    SALES

    • Achieve retail sales objectives through the education of Sephora Cast members.
    • Exhibit strong business acumen and communication skills
    • Build and maintain store relationships through consistent follow up communication with the Store Leadership and Cast.
    • Plan and manage time effectively when working in store to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in driving revenue.
    • Participate in and ensure execution of store events to achieve sales goals, while staying within budget.
    • Review and analyze daily & weekly sales achievement by door and where applicable by Selling Specialist. Reinforce achievement by door compared to sales, last year and comp goals. Partner with Education and Artistry Executives to establish a plan by door to achieve or exceed sales plan.
    • Understand business in order to partner and plan store visits which best impact the business Plan in-store coverage during key store hours.
    • Understand and respect the Sephora Cast, Lead, Specialist and Store Director Roles, and communicate with appropriate person to affect change. When Sephora procedures do not resolve concern, address the topic with your Education & Artistry Executive and Regional Manager.
    • Gondola Management:  Observe, investigate, facilitate and follow up on all aspects of Gondola, including Visual Merchandising and Inventory.
    • Attend Business Brand Reviews with Education & Artistry Executive.
    • Meet Sephora Brand Partner Expectations. 

    EDUCATION AND ARTISTRY

    • Be an outstanding role model for education and artistry skill and lead by example.
    • Execute training objectives set by VP of Sales and Regional Directors.
    • Educate Sephora cast based on curriculum set by Education Department.
    • Exhibit consistent, appropriate, and effective training and artistry skills
    • Be a passionate, professional, positive brand representative to internal and external clients.
    • Partner with Sephora Leadership team in identifying and addressing areas for development: in artistry, business, presentation, or other areas of opportunity.
    • Support Brand and Sephora events and trainings. Color Encore, Cluster Trainings, Brand Trainings, and/or new additional programs as requested. 

    ADMINISTRATIVE

    • One office day per month to manage reporting of sales, training trackers and other reports as needed
    • Strategically build quarterly calendars with EAE in Outlook
    • Timely completion of monthly expense reports (if applicable)
    • Clear and effective email communication in a timely manner
    • Manage distribution of cast gratis

    Qualifications

    • College degree preferred
    • Must have two or more years of experience in field sales experience within the retail cosmetics field. Experience within Sephora is preferred.
    • Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to exhibit basic beauty make up skills.
    • Must have basic computer knowledge.
    • Must be able to travel, drive, and maintain valid driver’s license, with proof of insurance.
    • Must be physically able to carry boxes of a reasonable weight and work in a fragrance filled, cosmetic environment.
    • Must exhibit a high level of professional personal appearance and hygiene.
    • Must be eligible to obtain a corporate credit card.
